Defensive Tactics
Annual In-Service
Don’t just check the box when it comes to control and defensive tactics!
A majority of use of force incidents involve going hands on.
Effective force at a lower level,
can prevent a higher level of force being needed
Ineffective force gives the perception of excessive force.
We will provide highly experienced instructors to train your officers in their annual defensive tactics in-service training. All instructors will be actively training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/grappling and have experience as defensive tactics instructors.
We will provide a training facility and set up training dates. All training will be logged and maintained. Certificates will be provided. All officers who attend training will have to complete a liability waiver for facility use and for receiving training. All officers who attend shall be approved by their Departments.

Hosting by providing a location and mat space

Sessions are capped at 16 and 30 officers per session. However, it is a flat rate, so you can split the cost with other Departments who want to join you for training to ensure you fill as many seats as possible.

The owner of Osprey LED, will be the instructor for every course. If a second instructor needs to be brought in due to class size, it will be an experienced officer with a significant martial arts background. We will work with the organizer and keep them informed.
All officers who attend training will have to complete a liability waiver for facility use and for receiving training. All officers who attend shall be approved by their Departments.
